Safety

Safety is the foundation of everything we do. We're hauling hazardous materials through communities, across highways, and into facilities where people work every day. That responsibility drives our commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

We're proud of our safety record with minimal lost-time incidents, but we don't take that for granted. Every day, our team works to stay ahead of industry standards through training, proactive maintenance, and a culture where safety concerns are heard and addressed immediately.

Our Safety Management System

Our comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental Program is supported by our management team and enforced across all employees and lease operators. Safety isn't just the responsibility of our Safety Manager; it's embedded in every role, every shift, and every decision we make.

Full-Time Safety Manager

Our dedicated Safety Manager works closely with our Safety Committee to ensure that all questions and concerns are raised and resolved. It's a full-time commitment to keeping our team, your team, and the public safe.

Active Safety Committee

Our Safety Committee includes drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and management who meet regularly to review incidents, identify risks, and implement improvements. We believe the people doing the work have the best insights into how to do it safely.

Proactive Risk Management

We don't wait for incidents to happen. We conduct regular hazard assessments, pre-trip inspections, and ongoing monitoring to identify and address risks before they become problems.

Fleet Safety & Maintenance

Our modern fleet is equipped with the latest safety technology and maintained to exceed industry standards.

Advanced Safety Features

Every unit in our fleet includes:

  • Remote truck shutdown capability
  • Live air to every axle for enhanced braking
  • Brake interlock systems to prevent movement during loading/unloading
  • Satellite GPS tracking for real-time monitoring
  • Dash cams for incident documentation and driver accountability
  • Emergency spill kits and response equipment

Rigorous Maintenance Program

Our in-house maintenance program includes:

  • Regular safety inspections following strict schedules
  • Preventive maintenance to address issues before they cause failures
  • Detailed maintenance records for every unit
  • Immediate repair of any safety-related concerns
  • Annual third-party inspections and certifications

New, Well-Maintained Equipment

We invest in maintaining a fleet of newer equipment because we know that well-maintained trucks are safer trucks. Our drivers operate vehicles they can trust, and our customers get the reliability that comes with quality equipment.

Environmental Protection

Protecting the environment isn't separate from safety. We're committed to zero negative environmental impact in everything we do.

ESG Commitment

We're currently undergoing our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation to formalize and strengthen our environmental commitments. This is about being accountable to our communities and the environment we operate in.

Regulatory Collaboration

We work closely with environmental regulators and industry experts to stay current on best practices and ensure we're meeting or exceeding all environmental protection requirements.

Spill Prevention & Response

  • All drivers are trained in spill prevention and emergency response
  • Every unit carries spill containment and cleanup equipment
  • We have established protocols for immediate response and reporting
  • Regular drills ensure our team is prepared for any situation

Industry Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Safety is a shared responsibility, and we actively participate in industry efforts to raise standards across the board.

Regulatory Partnerships

We maintain collaborative relationships with regulators, participate in safety initiatives, and stay ahead of regulatory changes that affect our operations.

Industry Best Practices

We learn from industry experts to implement proven best practices from across the fluid hauling sector.

Customer Collaboration

We work closely with our customers to understand facility-specific safety requirements and ensure our drivers are prepared for the unique conditions at each location.

Incident Reporting & Transparency

When incidents do occur, we respond immediately and transparently.

Immediate Response

Our drivers are trained to prioritize safety, secure the scene, and notify dispatch immediately in the event of any incident or near-miss.

Thorough Investigation

Every incident and near-miss is investigated to understand root causes and prevent recurrence. We always look for ways to improve.

Transparent Communication

We communicate openly with all parties about incidents, our response, and corrective actions taken.

Continuous Learning

Lessons learned from incidents are shared across our team and incorporated into training and procedures to prevent similar situations in the future.

Safety is Everyone's Responsibility

Every team member is responsible for stopping work if they see an unsafe condition. We ensure your load gets there safely. We never compromise safety.

If you have questions about our safety practices, want to review our safety records, or need to discuss facility-specific safety requirements, we're here to talk.
